The director had earlier shared the poster of the film on Instagram and wrote, “Time aa gaya hai, to unravel this electrifying mystery! Trailer out today at 2:12 pm.”

Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures’ new wing, Cult Movies, Dobaaraa is all set to open at the prestigious Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2022, which will begin on August 12.

From the trailer, it looks like a genre-bending thriller which includes elements of supernatural, psychological horror and murder mystery. Apart from Taapsee, the film stars Pavail Gulati.

Dobaaraa is all set to hit the theatres on August 19.

Echoes

Netflix dropped the trailer of their upcoming limited-series, Echoes. Starring Michelle Monaghan in a double role, the mystery thriller is from showrunners Brian Yorkey of 13 Reasons Why and Quinton Peeples of Runaways.

The one-minute-44-second trailer indicates a rather strange mystery. According to the official synopsis, “Since they were children, Leni and Gina have secretly swapped lives, culminating in a double life as adults: they share two homes, two husbands and a child.”

Australia’s Eden creator Vanessa Gazy is credited as creator/writer on Echoes and serves as an executive producer alongside Yorkey and Peeples.

Echoes will be streaming from August 12 on Netflix.

Me Time

Netflix released the much-awaited trailer for the upcoming comedy film, Me Time, featuring Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. It is written and directed by Why Him? helmer John Hamburg.

Me time revolves around Sonny (Kevin Hart), a stay-at-home father who gets relief from his duties for the first time when his family is away. To make his weekend worthwhile, he reconnects with his former best friend, Huck (Mark Wahlberg). What happens during the wild weekend turns Sonny’s life upside down.

The film also stars Regina Hall, Jimmy O. Yang and Luis Gerardo Mendez. Me Time is all set to premiere on August 26 on Netflix.
