Amul India has paid a tribute to Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon’s latest film Crew with its new doodle, prompting reactions from the actresses.
"Three female lead entertainer is a hit with audiences," the multinational cooperative wrote on Instagram alongside the doodle featuring three air hostesses holding slices of buttered toast.
In tune with the theme of the crime comedy, the text on the doodle read, "Please fasten your eat belts."
Kriti and Kareena re-shared the doodle on social media and were congratulated by a number of film industry personalities including Anil Kapoor, Ektaa Kapoor, Tahira Kashyap and Saba Pataudi.
“Another on my wish list,” read Kriti’s caption, while Kareena wrote, “Rocking and rolling with my crew. Pat on our back girls. Sona kahan hai,” alongside her post on Instagram.
Tabu shared Amul India’s doodle on her Instagram stories.
Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, Crew follows three air hostesses — Geeta Sethi (Tabu), Jasmine Bhajwa (Kareena) and Divya Rana (Kriti) — of a bankrupt airline. The trio eventually get involved in gold smuggling in the hope of earning easy money. The film, directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan, also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Saswata Chatterjee and Rajesh Sharma in key roles.
Crew, which premiered theatrically on March 29, crossed the Rs 20-crore mark at the global box office on its very first day. The film has already garnered over Rs 70 crore globally since its release.
