Ministry of Tourism of The Republic of Indonesia Conducted Sales Mission Greater Bali In Kolkata, India

Indian market has many potential to come to Indonesia for tourism and looking at the increasing Indian tourist to Indonesia, Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia promotes Bali on Sales Mission Greater Bali in Kolkata on February 26th 2018.

Indian market has many potential to come to Indonesia for tourism and looking at the increasing Indian tourist to Indonesia, Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia promotes Bali on Sales Mission Greater Bali in Kolkata on February 26th 2018. 

The event attended by 18 sellers and 125 buyers from travel agent and tour operator.Sales Mission Greater Bali in Kolkata, India took place at Galaxy ballroom, The Park Hotel Kolkata. This event is a B2B (Business to Business) where sellers from Industry in Bali and buyers from India met.

Sales Mission Greater Bali attended by Indonesia Delegation from Indonesia Embassy in New Delhi Mr. Irvan Fachrizal, Acting Director of Zone II Regional III Tourism Promotion Mr. Pupung Fadhillah Thariq, and Honorary Consulate of Republic of Indonesia in Kolkata Mr. Mahesh Saharia.

The participants entertained by the opening of the event with beautiful Balinesse traditional dance “Tari Cendrawasih”, the program followed by welcome speech from Indonesia delegations, and Bali tourism destinations presentation from Mrs. Dewa Ayu Laksmiadi – Head of Promotion, Bali Government Tourism Office and from Bali Tourism Hospitality, Mr. I Made Sunarsa

The B2B meeting designed with U-shape style where sellers remain stay at their desk, and buyers moving around and met sellers from desk to desk. There, sellers did their product presentation to the buyers that come to their desk.

To heat up the audiences after business meeting, Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia giveaway doorprizes; 2 nights stay at Hotel in Bali, and Restaurant Vouchers. Thai Airways also presented and gave their return flight ticket Kolkata – Bali.

The program closed by lunch while enjoying Balinesse dance performance and all the participants really delighted by the performance and their lunch menu.

Further more Indian tourists are incredible, by the year of 2017, there are 485.314 Indian tourists come to Bali. The number increased 30% from last year, only 376.802 tourists in 2016. Minister of Tourism, Mr. Arif Yahya said Indian market has many potential also has significant growth.

Regarding Sales Mission Greater Bali in India successfully held, we hope many Indian tourists would visit Bali as their top tourism destination
