I use a pack of henna mixed with amla, shikakai, reetha, an egg and some coconut oil on my hair once a month. It gives my hair a natural sheen and also volume. I don’t find much time for an elaborate skincare routine but when I do, I use a pack of malai and honey. It works wonders for the skin, especially during winter. |
I am 30. I get a facial done at the beginning of every month. But sometimes I have a party to attend at the end of the month and my face isn’t looking all that bright. Could you give me a natural tip to get an instant glow on my face and make it look smooth and fresh? I have combination skin — not too oily but a little dry in winter.

Even if you have a hectic party schedule there is nothing quite like giving your skin some rest and TLC (tender loving care). Let your skin breathe after cleaning it. Take 2tsp of honey and add a pinch of camphor. Massage this into the skin and leave in for about 10 minutes. Wash off. Next, take 2 drops of pure sandalwood oil and massage into the skin. Avoid make-up for sometime. Take a hot towel dipped in water to which you have added some rose petals. Cover your face with this and let it steam gently. You will see a marked difference in your skin.
I am a 19 year-old-girl. I have very sparse eyebrows. Is there anyway or anything I can use to make my eyebrows look/ grow thicker?

You can apply 2-3 drops of castor oil on the eyebrows daily and leave overnight. Do this for about a month. Remember to massage it well into the hair until the skin has soaked up all of it. During the day use an eyebrow pencil to fill in the sparseness of the eyebrows until they begin to fill out.
