After a long day’s shoot, the first thing I do is to remove my make-up carefully. Using Johnson’s baby oil for make-up removal works best for me. I also freeze rose water into ice cubes and massage them on my face so that it remains soft and supple. For glowing skin, you should drink plenty of water and fruit juices daily. I also have lots of cucumber because of its water content. Pic by Raj Kundu |
I am a 40-year-old man. Lately, my eyebrows have begun to thin. Is there anything that I can do to stop this naturally?

You could begin to apply a few drops of castor oil to your eyebrows at night daily for about a month. Massage in gently and leave overnight.
I am 30. I have combination skin. I usually do not use a face wash. I use honey to cleanse my face. I follow it up with rose water for toning. However, now that it’s humid I am a little wary of using a cream after toning to moisturise. Is it alright if I don’t moisturise? Also, what’s a nice simple-to-make face pack I can use on Sundays.

You can massage your skin with 1 tsp of honey to which you have added three drops of lemon juice and half a teaspoon of olive oil and then wash off properly. This is enough to moisturise your skin. However, do use a sunscreen when you step out. As for the pack, mix grated cucumber, 2 tsp Fuller’s earth, a few drops of lemon juice and cold milk and apply to the skin. Not only do the milk and cucumber de-tan your skin, it also lends it a wonderful natural glow.
