Suhel Seth Has An Unconventional Take On Personal Problems — And Their Solutions Published 24.06.12, 12:00 AM

I am a sub-divisional police officer having an affair with a married woman who is a block development officer. I am married too and love my wife but I can’t resist this woman either. However, my lover is unhappy in her marriage and is currently staying away from her spouse though they are not legally separated. We have indulged in a physical relationship and she is now insisting on having a child with me because she is desperate to be a mother. I am in a fix. Please help.

Wow...am delighted that the police is also adulterous. I always thought you guys didn’t have a libido which was hungry but only a wallet which wanted more money from anyone. Look my friend, I am delighted you are in the predicament you are in because this is kindergarten compared to the trauma you cause ordinary folks even for a goddamn traffic offence. Look, just go for this woman and to hell with the law and morality. You are after all a policeman and since when were you guys ever bothered about following the law? Have a child with her so that when people abuse the child, it will not be without reason. And please do let me know what you name the child.

I have had a fallout with my best friend though I should no longer call her so. I had always been warned about her by my other friends who insisted that she says nasty stuff about me behind my back. Finally, the truth became clear to me. But she is the vindictive sorts and I am worried she would try and damage my reputation further. What must I do?

Look if people know the kind of woman she is, then no one will pay much credence to what she says. Would you believe the Communists if they told you they’ve become corrupt or would you believe Mamata di if she told you she is going to start wearing Jimmy Choo shoes or if L.K. Advani declared he didn’t want to become Prime Minister ever. So, let her be and get on with your miserable life. It can’t get any worse.... .
