It will allow people to style their winter looks right for various occasions. We have used a variety of comfort fabrics like suede, cotton, linen and a blend of silk. Structured jackets are also one of our signature outfits. The whole collection has got a young vibe to it,” said Abhishek.

Rundown acing your winter wear

1 Add some drama to your winter brunch look with pop colours like green and yellow, and go comfy in this oversized boyfriend jacket. On one side of this men’s jacket there is a radium taping done as a design element. The jacket is paired with contrast-colour high-waisted shorts and bikini top. “Now the boyfriend jacket is much in trend. One can wear it on its own or it can be teamed with a high-waisted pair of shorts and can be worn for brunch parties. It has a peppy and young look,” said Abhishek.

2 Priti was smoking hot in this long sequinned jacket dress. The double-breasted jacket is designed with the label’s signature digital-printed sequinned fabric. The floral print in warm hues add the winter feel to the look, and matte-finish sequins complete the magic by keeping it subtle-glam. It is accessorised with engraved lion buttons at the front. “It is a long jacket but can be teamed with a legging or slim-fit trousers too. Perfect attire for a New Year’s Eve or a Christmas party. Goes well with high boots,” said the designer.

3 Priti was cowboy-vintage in this self-embossed, woven Jodhpuri pants paired with a beige embroidered top and a leather jacket. The jacket has a velvet collar and is designed with stitch-work in the front. “Leather is the signature of my collection, so I always use leather somewhere or the other. This can be worn as daywear, or for a December 31 race course outing. It is perfect for occasions where one is more comfortable in a trouser than a dress,” said Abhishek.

4 Priti keeps it effortlessly cool in this black draped gown paired with a bright red panelled cape jacket. Made of a cotton blend handwoven fabric, it falls like a cape over the shoulders and has a subtle sheen to it. “This could be a New Year’s Eve look because a lot of people like to wear black on a NYE. Even with a LBD this jacket will look nice,” said Abhishek.

Boyfriend jackets or any oversized jackets should always be teamed with something fitted and cropped to enhance the look. This is more of a comfort and casual look and apt for a brunch or daywear. It can be accessorised with chunky bangles or oversized hoops. Footwear should be casual too — pumps or sneakers fit the bill.

Leather jacket can be biker style or long trenchcoat style. Move away from usual colours this season and try different colours like scarlet, old rose, whites and angel blue. Perfect for all occasions and can be teamed casually with denims or dresses for a more partywear look.

Pantsuit is the perfect attire for both formal and party look. Velvets, corduroy and suedes are the perfect fabrics for winter. Bright colours are definitely in this season. It can be paired with heels or pumps. Net shirts and solid camisoles go really well too and printed ones are also back in trend.

Denim is the all-time favourite in jackets and is the most important one in one’s wardrobe. Printed, studded and distressed ones are now high on the list. Team them with wide-legged denims this season.

Trenchcoats and cape jackets are the in thing. Elegant and chic, they work well both in solids, plaids and checks and can be teamed with both pants and dresses. They are apt for a formal evening affair and can be worn with Indian outfits like saris too.
