WOW! Momo goes further east with WOW! China

The F&B menu consists of an array of dishes curated as a blend of Indian and Chinese cuisines

The flagship outlet of Wow! China — from the house of Wow! Momo — opened doors on Park Street with its menu flaunting a range of Indian-Chinese delicacies. The 70-seater “fast-casual” restaurant spread across 2,100 sq ft, boasts of two floors that also come with a private dining area. The F&B menu consists of an array of dishes curated as a blend of Indian and Chinese cuisines. The Chinese Chakna section offers spicy dishes you can snack on if you don’t opt for the more wholesome options like the Khao Suey.

“Serving Chinese main course dishes real quick, yet in a casual dining space, is how we came up with Wow! China. In 2018, we opened our first QSR outlet at City Centre New Town, after which we opened in Phoenix Marketcity Mall in Mumbai and so on. But those were all in kiosk formats. This one comes with a much larger area where one can drop in and have a full course meal. Since we are based out of Calcutta, our first preference was the city itself,” said Sagar J. Daryani, CEO, Wow! Momo.

The Green Curry Khao Suey comes in three variants — vegetarian, chicken and prawn. The curry with your choice of protein or vegetables, is made with spiced coconut, chilli and lemongrass and is served with either egg noodles or rice and an assortment of condiments. Rs 535 prawn variant (in picture)
