Mumbai, June 6 :
Jet Airways is planning to offer more flights on feeder routes, following its acquisition of five apple table roger (ATR) aircraft which will be put into service this year.
At present, the airline operates with 25 Boeing 737s. Officials said the five 64-seater ATRs will largely be used on new routes.
?We are planning to open new markets, apart from the existing routes where we are already in a strong position.,? a Jet official said.
The feeder routes under consideration include the Chennai-Madurai and Mumbai-Hubli routes.
The officials said the airline is going through the process of obtaining clearances from the Centre for the ATRs, and the aircraft are expected to be deployed by September-October this year.
