Patna, July 27: Animal and fish resources minister Giriraj Singh is said to be fed up with the verbal complaints pouring in at his darbar.
Today, the minister asked the complainants to come up with written complaints in future.
According to the minister, it has become a regular habit among visitors to the darbar, who create confusion while the officials scrutinise their complaints.
A complainant from Forbesganj, Subhash Chandra Agarwal, today visited Giriraj Singh’s darbar and narrated his complaint verbally, to which the minister said: “This is not the way to tell your problems. There is no use of telling me verbally. I will forget it later. There has to be a written application where one can check the authenticity of the complainant. So many people visit my darbar and it’s not possible to memorise all the complaints.”
He added: “You must be having genuine problems which need special attention but unless you give me in writing how will I look into it (the complaint)? It may slip out of my mind and later you will blame me that I did not take your grievances seriously.”
“The seriousness of the complaint is always judged by the matter written on the paper and every complaint goes on record. Later, it becomes convenient for my officials to contact the people concerned to deal with the grievances pouring in at my janata darbar,” said Giriraj Singh.
