Chhapra, March 15: Charred bodies of a woman and her three-and-a-half-year-old son were found at their residence at Vishunpura village under Parsa police station last night.

Villagers claimed Jaibun Khatoon committed suicide because of continuous family quarrels. According to them, she poured kerosene on herself and her son and lit fire.

However, Sobrati Hussain, uncle of the Jaibun, lodged an FIR today against seven persons, including her husband, alleging she and her son were burnt by her in-laws after their demand for a motorcycle and Rs 50,000 was not met by Jaibun’s family.
