Patna, May 10: Schoolchildren, gear up for a summer vacation. Keeping the hot and humid weather condition in mind, many schools will remain closed, according to schedule.

Don Bosco Academy will be closing on May 24 and the school will reopen on June 21. Gyan Niketan is closing its junior wing from May 14 and the senior wing will remain closed from May 19. Both the wings of the school will reopen on June 24. Patna Central School is closing on May 16 and will reopen on June 20.

Notre Dame Academy will remain closed from May 14 to June 21. Delhi Public School, Patna goes for vacation from May 14 and will reopen on June 27. St Joseph’s Convent High School is closed from May 14 to June 23. Radiant Inte rnational School is closed from May 15 to June 19.

Rahul of Gyan Niketan said: “The weather is unbearable. It’s too hot. We feel drowsy these days and wanted school to close. We are happy that in a very short span of time we will be holidaying.”

Shweta of Patna Central School was excited about the holidays. Shweta said: “It’s difficult to bear the heat. We wanted holidays and we are excited after hearing the news.”
