Patna: The government at the Centre is of capitalists and all the friends of the BJP are capitalists so the chief minister should now tell Prime Minister Narendra Modi to send Adani and Ambani to set up their units in Bihar, leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav taunted in the Assembly on Wednesday.
He also cited the BJP's claim that now Bihar had the backing of a double engine - NDA governments in Delhi and the state - and asked what then was preventing Bihar's growth.
"There are talks of Make in India and Make in Gujarat. When would Make in Bihar happen?" he asked.
Road construction minister Nand Kishore Yadav shot back that the RJD leader was suffering from "Modi phobia".
The taunt versus taunt came during the discussion on the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2017.
Tejashwi said that when the RJD was in power the BJP leaders would claim that industries were not coming to Bihar because of the law and order scenario, and asked what was preventing industrialists from coming to the state now. His invoking the Prime Minister provoked Nand Kishore.
"What do you talk about Narendra Modi?" the BJP leader asked. "You won't be able to harm him at all. You will get finished."
He added: "I had thought that he (Tejashwi) had learnt something. I had also great hope from him as he used to talk of development despite coming from the RJD. His speech today has disappointed me as while the House is discussing an amendment bill on Biada, he is talking about industrial policy."
Tejashwi retorted: "They talk of Mann Ki Baat. They talk bakwas (rubbish). Talk of some work."
The RJD members walked out when industries minister Jai Kumar Singh stood to speak about the amendment bill.
