Teen raped

• Patna, Aug. 12: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two youths in Sheikhpura district, police said today. The Class IX student of a government school was walking to her coaching classes when the accused, Raja and Lalu, forcibly picked her on a motorbike, took her to a deserted place and raped her. One of the accused also made a video clip the incident and later threatened to upload the same on the social networking site.

• Patna: Bihar School Examination Board chairman Anand Kishor on Saturday announced the Intermediate compartmental results 2017 at his official chamber. Candidates can check results on www.biharboard.ac.in. Kishor said of 1,30,741 students, 93,295 passed.

Training

The victim's father reported the matter to the women police station today and an FIR was lodged against Raja and Lallu, said to be residents of Girihinda village in Sheikhpura district.

The station house officer (SHO) of women police station Sudha Kumari said that the victim was sent for medical examination today. "The report is awaited," she said, adding that raids were conducted to nab the culprits but they were absconding.

The girl's father lodged a formal complaint with the police on Saturday, a day after the incident took place.
