Event: Polio-free Enclave 2014

Duration: Around five hours

Special attraction: This was the only institute chosen among the schools in Bihar and Jharkhand. The students felt proud to be selected and performed a nukkad natak (street play) at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. Ten students from classes VIII and IX took part in the programme. President Pranab Mukherjee attended the event. The school, in association with Rotary International, also organised different events related to polio.

Special attraction:The Students’ Oxygen Movement, which had organised the event, gave children an opportunity to receive scholarships according to the number of greeting cards made by them. Traffic superintendent of police Rajeev Mishra attended the event as chief guest. He said training is very important in creative work. The cards were displayed on the wall. The cards would be sold to generate money for poor children. Convener Binod Singh said kids should be determined.
