Patna, July 18: Bihar School Examination Board has decided to start from this year compartmental examination for students who have failed their Intermediate examinations.

The 2016 results were declared in May. Students who failed in one subject can sit for this examination. The decision was taken at a meeting in the BSEB office today.

"Students who failed in one subject will be allowed to appear in the test," said BSEB chairman Anand Kishor. "The test is likely to be held in November. The dates will be announced later."

A student can appear in the compartmental test thrice - first in November, in the next Intermediate exam and again next November.
