Patna, June 13: Two persons died this evening of electrocution at Jaganpura area under Kankerbagh police station. The duo had come in contact with 11,000V livewire.

The deceased, identified as Jamun Sahni (55) and Satyendra (35), were standing near the JCB machine, which was digging a drain. The operator of the machine accidentally hit a livewire. It snapped and fell on the duo, killing them on the spot.

An irate mob set afire the JCB machine. But its operator managed to escape.

The mob blocked the Patna Bypass Road demanding compensation to the kin of the deceased.
