Patna, Feb. 1: A travelling exhibition — Measuring Our Planet — developed by the National Council of Science Museums arrived in the city today.
The exhibition, which is being hosted on the premises of Shri Krishna Science Centre, will be open to the public till March 6.
L.N. Ram, former vice-chancellor of Patna University, while inaugurating the exhibition, said: “This exhibition is interactive. On each of the panels there are many knobs, buttons and meters, which help the visitors experience the features of our planet on their own. Practical knowledge is much better than theoretical knowledge.”
The exhibition has around 26 models and exhibits that showcase a wide range of information related to planet Earth.
Video and multimedia software add to the speciality of the exhibition. Interactive models on humidity, gravity, mass and diameter measurement are attracting the people to the Shri Krishna Science Centre premises.
The National Council of Science Museums usually develops exhibitions on two issues a year.
