Patna, Feb. 29: Bihar State Information Commission will organise a two-day international conference on the Right to Information (RTI) Act from March 2. Chief minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate it.
A first-of-its-kind conference, Six years of RTI: The Road Ahead, will be attended by chief information commissioners from various states. Former judges, national and international experts on RTI and experts from World Bank will also attend the meet.
The purpose of the meet is to strengthen the RTI by adopting the best practices from around the country, said Bihar chief information commissioner A.K. Choudhary today.
