RBI notes

 Patna: The RBI will shortly issue banknotes of Rs 10 denomination incorporating symbol on the obverse and the reverse with inset letter "N" in both the numbering panels.

The banknotes will be in the Mahatma Gandhi series 2005 bearing the signature of Raghuram G. Rajan, the RBI governor, and the year of printing - 2014 - printed on the reverse of the banknote. All the banknotes in the denomination of Rs 10 issued in the past will continue to be legal tender.
