The bhumi-pujan (foundation ritual) at the site of Ram Temple at Kesariya in East Champaran is set to be a grand affair.

Mahavir Mandir Trust secretary Acharya Kishore Kunal on Wednesday said five pundits from Kashi have been called for the ceremony to be organised on Thursday.

“The two-hour ceremony will be held according to Indian traditions. The ritual will start at 8am sharp,” Kunal said, adding that devotees were free to attend the function. The temple will be con-structed on the lines of Ang-kor Wat temple in Cambodia.
