Purnea, March 14: More than 500 people staged a dharna on the National Highway-31 at Sonail Chowk near Gulab Bag in Purnea today.

The people were protesting the government’s apathy towards upkeep of the road. Communication from Bihar to Bengal and Assam was stalled for around six hours.

People registered their protest against government machinery and demanded its repair from Zero Mile to Maranga immediately.
