A passer-by checks the remains of a sports utility vehicle after it rammed into an electric transformer on Frazer Road in Patna on Monday. Station house officer of Gandhi Maidan police station Raj Bindu Prasad said the driver of the vehicle, bearing registration number BR1AJ 4801, managed to escape unhurt after the mishap. “The identity of the vehicle’s owner is being ascertained,” he said, adding that the vehicle has been seized.
