OPEN RAILWAY BRIDGE OF THE SONEPUR-DIGHA RAIL-CUM-ROAD BRIDGE
The 4.5km bridge, constructed at a cost of Rs 2,921 crore, goes from Patna to Sonepur in Chhapra. Passengers can directly avail train service from Patna to Siwan and Gopalganj districts instead of catching trains from Hajipur. It can also open direct train service between Patna and Muzaffarpur and Motihari
INAUGURATION OF RAILWAY STRETCH OF RAIL-CUM-ROAD BRIDGE IN MUNGER
The 3.69km bridge, constructed for Rs 2,774 crore, will connect Munger with Begusarai and Khagaria districts. Passengers will have the option to reach these districts directly from Munger instead of having to go to
Mokama first. It also opens possibility of direct trains to Delhi, instead of taking the Bhagalpur route
FOUNDATION OF ADDITIONAL RAIL BRIDGE IN MOKAMA
Parallel to Rajendra bridge, the project is estimated to cost Rs 1,491 crore. The Rajendra bridge, inaugurated in 1959, connects Patna with Begusarai but is in a dilapidated condition now. So, trains take more time to reach the destination

The tri-weekly train will go to Lucknow via Chhapra, Gorakhpur and Deoria
