The anti-race driving cell of police booked 25 bikers within five days of its inception.

On June 29, the day the cell was constituted, five persons were pulled up for driving recklessly. Six police teams from Sachivalaya and Kotwali police stations intercepted the speedsters.

On June 30, as many as 11 rash drivers were booked in the jurisdiction of Patliputra and Sri Krishna Puri police stations. On July 2, nine speedsters were nabbed from Hardinge Road, Chitkohra Bridge and Mithapur areas under the Sachivalaya police station. The police said the members of the Quick Mobile team had also been asked to be on the lookout for the erring bikers.
