Care India on Saturday held a discussion on promoting reading culture through inclusive school libraries which will aim to change attitude about gender differences among school staff and children. Partnering the event at a city hotel with Care India were Bihar Education Project Council and Unicef.
Principal secretary, education, Dharmendra Singh Gangwar, other dignitaries and around 22 students from four blocks attended the event.

Tarumitra Ashram, in association with government schools, organised a seminar on the importance of education on Saturday. Dr Ambedkar Academy Seva Trust and Susamay were among the trusts present at the programme in Digha.
Susamay secretary Rashmi Dubey said: "We will appeal to private schools to ensure free admission of 25 per cent of underprivileged children according to regulations of the Right to Education Act 2005."
Annual day
Acharyashri Sudarshan Krishna Niketan celebrated Pallavan, its annual day, on the campus in Transport Nagar on Saturday.
Public health engineering minister Krishnanandan Prasad Verma inaugurated the programme. Students of classes I-XII presented several performances, including dance and plays.
