Bhagalpur: The district administration is planning to provide special facility to dak bums (pilgrims) at Deoghar during the month-long Shravani Mela starting July 22. ihar and Jharkhand officials would meet on May 29 to decide if the dak bums would be given special entry this year. Jharkhand government would provide helicopter services for the pilgrims from Deoghar to Sultanganj during the Shravani Mela. Muzaffarpur: Around 51 inmates of Khudiram Bose Memorial Central Jail took part in a training programme to produce and market mushrooms. The six-day programme, organised by Rajendra Agriculture University, ended on Sunday. Nawada (PTI): Four persons were killed in different parts of Nawada district over the past 24 hours. Two bikers from Ranchi were killed near Akona village on their way to Patna after they slammed into a truck. Akash Kumar was hit by a car on Nawada-Gaya road and Dinesh Sharma rammed into an electric pole near Vijho crossing.
