Patna, Aug. 17: Vigilance sleuths today arrested Phoolpari Kumari, Patna rural child development project officer, red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 40,000 from one Jitendra Kumar Rajak for allegedly issuing an appointment letter to his wife to the post of sevika at Anganwadi Kendra. Patna: A felicitation ceremony was organised at Bihar State Indian Medical Association to honour its newly elected president Rajiv Ranjan Prasad and honorary secretary Sanjiv Ranjan Kumar Singh. Patna: Independence Day function was celebrated at Power Grid township at Karbigahiya on Thursday. Patna: Patna municipal commissioner Kuldip Narayan issued an order on Saturday for compulsory display of information boards at the site of any new apartment. Patna: IndiGo would start operating two flights from Patna airport from Sunday. The flights would operate on Delhi- Ranchi- Patna- Delhi route. The morning flight 6E 493 would depart from Patna at 8.55am and the evening flight would depart from the city at 8pm.
