Patna, April 2: Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will launch an 11-day statewide campaign — Jago Janata Abhiyan — to “expose” the “development” agenda of the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government for failing to utilise even 50 per cent funds of the plan outlay.

“The state government, on one hand, is vociferously demanding a special package and special status category and on the other, it is failing to utilise even 50 per cent funds given to it for development schemes under the plan outlay,” NCP general secretary Tariq Anwar said on Monday. He was accompanied by the party’s media department chairman, Anil Kishore Jha. “Departments such as animal and fish resources could not use even 50 per cent of funds till February. How is growth possible then?” he asked.
