Ara (Bhojpur) (PTI): A fire broke out and a number of LPG cylinders exploded at the venue of Ranvir Sena chief Brahmeshwar Singh’s memorial service at Khopira village in the district on Tuesday.

The fire broke out in a huge pandal, erected for his memorial services, while food was being prepared for the memorial service of the slain Ranvir Sena chief, deputy superintendent of police (DSP) G.M. Kumar said.

Dozens of LPG cylinders burst one after another because of the heat caused by the fire, the DSP said. Several fire tenders were pressed into service. No one was injured in the fire, the cause of which is yet to be ascertained.
