Gopalganj, May 3: Gopalganj MP Purnmasi Ram will meet chief minister Nitish Kumar and inform him about the lathicharge on businessmen protesting against poor roads and power crisis.

The businessmen were demanding removal of burnt transformer and construction of road at Munia Chowk.

The MP met representatives of business community and assured them of justice. Three businessmen Prem Ke-dia, Mohit Gupta and Ram Go-pal Sharma, arrested during the protest, were granted bail on Monday. The MP has also asked the district magistrate for the reasons behind the delay in road construction.
