The high court on Friday fixed January 13 to hear the petition filed by BJP MLC Lalbabu Prasad seeking quashing of the notice for forcibly vacating him from his bungalow at 9 South Bailey Road.

Prasad’s counsel Mukesh Kant pleaded before a division bench comprising Chief Justice Rekha M. Doshit and Justice Ashwani Kumar Singh.

In his petition, Prasad asked the authorities to refrain from evicting him from the legally allotted house at South Bailey Road. Kant submitted that Prasad was allotted the house on June 7, 2013, on recommendation of the House allotment committee of the Bihar Legislative Council.
