Over 1,000 engineers and delegates from across the country and Bihar would take part in a three-day midterm session of Indian Building Congress from Friday.
The building construction department and Bihar State Building Construction Corporation Limited would host the meet, the theme for which is “State-of-the-art building technology”.
This is the first time such a session is being held in the state. Developers, engineers, architects and construction experts would present over 50 papers on subjects such as innovative building designs, green building concepts and innovative technologies in building construction.
On Thursday, C.S. Prasad, president, Indian Building Congress, said chief minister Nitish Kumar would inaugurate the seminar at SK Memorial Hall.
His deputy Sushil Kumar Modi and building construction minister Damodar Raut would also be present.
