Patna, June 22: The politician in Lalu Prasad might not be favoured in many pockets but the lover surely tops the web, err, the Net.

The youngsters are just loving it.

Anamika Roy Choudhury (24) said: “When I heard about it (the site), the image of Lalu and Rabri came to my mind. I think it is the best name one can give to a dating site. Whenever you take Lalu’s name, Rabri’s name automatically comes to mind. They are like two peas in a pod.”

On the site’s homepage, you will be welcomed by an apt quote from William Shakespeare’s comedy As You Like It — “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances. And one man in his time plays many parts”.

Isha Aggarwal, a 25-year-old city girl, said: “I regret having a boyfriend now. Otherwise, I would have registered myself on this site. But I hope that the boys registered on the site don’t look anything close to what Lalu looks like.”

The boys are divided over their verdict.

Twenty-four-year-old Akash Sinha is not happy with the name.

“Lalu and Rabri are political figures and using their name for such a dating site gives a bad name to the state. I have not seen the site yet but I hope there is nothing objectionable.”

Siddharth Singh, 23, however, said: “At least they (Lalu and Rabri) are doing something good in life. Their names are helping to bring together pure souls. I hope that it is an interesting site and gives an excellent platform to lovers.”
