Patna, July 11: RJD chief Lalu Prasad today said chief minister Nitish Kumar would be out of power because of his “arrogance”.

“Nitish Kumar has arrogance like that of Raavan. This arrogance will cost him dear and throw him out of power,” Lalu said before leaving for Ranchi along with 22 RJD MLAs to welcome UPA presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee. Mukherjee is scheduled to visit the Jharkhand capital tomorrow.

“Cases of robbery, murder and rape have shot up during the regime of Nitish. It has gone out of control,” Lalu said. On the presidential election, the RJD leader said, ‘P.A. Sangma should withdraw his name from the contest because Pranab Mukherjee’s victory is certain.”
