The team has a fair mix of youth and experience and it has started well this year. Time will prove how far the underdogs, led by Dada, can go this year.”

“Without a shade of doubt, my favourite team is the Chennai Super Kings. Besides being the most successful team in the IPL by winning back-to-back editions in 2010 and 2011, the team is led by our captain cool, M.S. Dhoni. The team also has the likes of Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja, who can turn around any game in the team’s favour. There is no question of choosing another team. CSK is the best.”

“Any team which has Sachin Tendulkar has to be the best. His sheer presence boosts the winning chances of a team. Since Sachin is playing for Mumbai Indians, it’s my favourite team. Apart from the presence of the Master Blaster, I think the team is very balanced. It has very good bowlers, good batsmen and brilliant fielders, taking care of all departments of the game. I will be glued to the TV set to see Harbhajan bowl, Malinga deliver his toe-breaking yorkers and Kieron Pollard smash the bowlers out of the park.”

Earlier, it was the legendary leg spinner Shane Warne and now it is Rahul Dravid, the mentor of so many Indian victories. This year, I have put my money on the Royals. May Dravid anchor them to another 2008-like magic.”
