The ICSE and ISC exam results are likely to be declared on May 19 or May 20.
“Results of ICSE/ISC 2014 would be published in all probability on May 19 or May 20,” said a notice sent to heads of all schools by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations this week.
“The ICSE/ISC results cannot be declared on May 17 or 18, as they fall on a weekend. It is not possible to declare results on May 16 because the outcome of the general election will be declared,” said a source in the council.
The council introduced changes in the exam and evaluation system to make the process transparent and accurate. The council has introduced a unique seven-digit ID for students to check results. For online results, one has to visit www.cisce.org. ICSE examinees will have to enter their ID and date of birth. For ISC, one has to enter their ID and either date of birth or, eligibility number in case of Class X passouts from other boards. For results over SMS, candidates need to type ICSE/ISC (whichever is applicable) [space] ID and send it to 09248082883.
