Honour for super writers

Students pose with their prizes after the winners of The Telegraph Super Writer Contest was announced on Friday.

Anamika Singh of Class IX of DAV Public School, BSEB, bagged the first prize. The second runner-up prize was awarded to Ananya of Class VII. This was the second season of the competition.

Pritha Jha and Satyam (from Class V), Prabha Jha and Sakshi Singh (Class VI), Supriya Kumari and Navneet Ranjan (Class VII) and Sachin Mishra (Class VIII) were awarded prizes of recognition.

The contest, aiming to highlight students' proficiency in English language, was organised across schools in Patna over a period of two months. DAV assistant regional director Indrajeet Rai awarded the winners at a ceremony held on the school premises. Telegraph picture
