Aryan Group of Colleges on Sunday launched a website that would provide information to students of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes about all state and central scholarships for them.

Anshu Kataria, the chairperson of Aryan Group of Colleges, Chandigarh, said: “We often find that students lack of information about different scholarships offered by the state and central governments and are therefore unable to avail of them. They would now be able to get all information from the website www.scstscholarships.com.”

The website would also soon have a comparative chart to provide more information to students about the different scholarships and their requirements.

The scholarships are mostly to fund higher studies after Class X. Several of the scholarships come in handy also for foreign students.

Kataria said former IPS officer and now member of Team Anna Kiran Bedi was associated with the Aryan Group of Colleges.

Aryan Group of Colleges would be announcing scholarships in the next year for its courses like BTech, BA, BCom and BBA.
