| CPI(ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya addresses a rally against corruption at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Monday. Bhattacharya blamed the UPA government in Delhi and the NDA government in the state for “failing” to stem corruption. “On one hand, chief minister Nitish Kumar allowed senior BJP leader LK Advani to launch his rath yatra from Sitab Diara against corruption. On the other hand, two BJP chief ministers were removed from their posts for indulging in corruption,” he said. “The UPA government is the most corrupt government as many former ministers of the Manmohan Singh cabinet are in jail. The country needs a strong Lokpal Bill, along with stern law and polices, to curb corruption,” Bhattacharya said, urging party workers to participate in a block-level agitation against corruption from December 15.
