Patna (PTI): Bihar government has proposed to provide two buildings to Aligarh Muslim University to begin classes at its study centre in Kishanganj.

“We are concerned over the inordinate delay in the commencement of academic activities at the AMU study centre in Kishanganj reportedly because of lack of infrastructure,” said minority welfare minister Shahid Ali Khan on Wednesday.

The government has identified two buildings — a three-storied hostel for boys and two-storied hostel for girls from the minority community.

Patna: Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Ltd on Wednesday suspended Lakshmi Narayan Gupta, who was posted as junior engineer in Keoti power supply section of Darbhanga district, for dereliction of duty.

Arrest

ARA: Three persons were arrested in connection with the murder of RJD leader Ekram Alam’s son, Aftab Alam, on Tuesday night. Aftab was killed on Monday.
