You will make heads turn when you step out of it.
As its name suggests, the stylists at Head Turners aim to give that special look to clients so that they attract attention. And now, fashionistas can avail of the skills of stylists in Patna itself.
A new unisex hair spa as well as gym exclusively for women has opened shop at Boring Canal Road.
“As our name suggests, we try to give that special look to our clients that would make people literally turn their heads to check out the makeover,” said Rakhi Agarwal, the director of the outlet.
“The services we offer include haircuts, smoothening, colouring, straightening — you name it, you will get it.”
Those who step into the spa would get three broad categories of haircuts — styling, fashion cut and makeover.
Explaining the different kinds of styling that you and I can get at Head Turners, David Gurung, a stylist from Calcutta, said: “If you opt for a styling cut, you will get the regular stuff like a bob cut. Those who want to get a different look should opt for a fashion cut. A makeover would create a new look for the client, according to his or her face and contemporary fashion trends.”
Some of the stylists at the spa use special techniques and tools to serve the clients.
Kaptain Lakra uses three scissors simultaneously to give the best makeover to the client.
“I have been in this profession for the past nine years and have learnt many techniques. Using three scissors together gives a better finishing touch. Each hair is treated,” he said.
Besides looking good, clients can also get gastronomic treats at The Bean Jar — a new café just adjacent to the Head Turners.
Ravi Kumar, head chef of the café, said: “Two of our specialities are brownie java and cookie shake. The first beverage is prepared by mixing brownie crumbs with coffee. The other drink has chunks of cookies.”
