Students of Delhi Public School (red and black striped jerseys) and Radiant International School with the winners’ and runners-up trophies, respectively, on Wednesday. DPS defeated the Radiant International team 2-0 to win the 6th St Ignatius of Loyola Inter-school Football Tournament. St Michael’s High School hosted the tournament. Chief guest Shishir Sinha, principal secretary, department of coal and mines, and guest of honour Fazal Alam, president, Kalyanpur Cement Ltd, were present to encourage the students. Naved of DPS got the best scorer award, while Dhananjay of Radiant International School got the best defender award. Host team St Michael’s High School bagged the best fair play team award.
