DOCTOR WITH A 'DIFFERENCE'

Shatrughan Sinha dons the doctor's garb during an inspection of AIIMS Patna on Friday. The BJP's Patna Sahib MP stuck to his rebel reputation and differed from his party on the political crisis raging in Bihar. Whether deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav should resign or not in the wake of the CBI FIR is an "internal" matter of the Grand Alliance, the actor-turned-MP said, and hoped that the alliance would sort it out at the earliest in the interest of Bihar. "There are many persons cutting across party lines who are continuing as minister despite being charge-sheeted or their case being at different stages in a court," Sinha told PTI on arrival at Patna airport.Sinha, who is friends with both Lalu Prasad and chief minister Nitish Kumar, said: "Friendship is personal but in this case (on Tejashwi) I am neither supporting demand for his resignation nor opposing it... It is for them (Nitish and Lalu) to sort out this subject. They are mature people and would sort out the issue themselves. I hope and pray that Bihar does not go for a mid-term poll."
