Event: Farewell function of classes X and XII

Duration: Around three hours

Special attraction: A crowning ceremony was held on the premises for the various events. Five boys and girls were shortlisted after a rampwalk and a quiz among the students. Adil of Class X was adjudged Mr Jesus and Mary Academy, while and Nancy of the same class won the Miss title. Class XII pupil Prince Kunal and Nancy Sahay of Class X won the Mr and Miss Popular titles, respectively. School principal Pushpa Patrick and vice-principal Pooja Ann Sharma gave away the awards.

Event: SUPW project

Duration: Around five hours

Special attraction: Creativity of the students. Apart from this, the authenticity could be witnessed. For example, if they had to prepare chaat, they did a lot of research work and prepared various types of food. School principal M. Rizvi appreciated the efforts of the children. Pupils of classes I to V had been given the assignment of flower decoration, while students of classes VI to IX focussed on food items. Each class had a different topic. For example, some of them prepared sandwich, while others made designer foodstuff. Chaat, salad and other items, too, were prepared.

TEFL Play School

Event: Valentine’s Day celebrations

Duration: Four hours

Special attraction: Tiny tots brought roses for the teachers and wished them. They got chocolates on the occasion and cake cutting was also done at the event. The students were highly excited and as the school was decorated with red balloons. The young ones also recited poems for their parents. Apart from the little ones and their parents, the teachers had a whale of a time.
