Patna police, in a bid to identify trouble mongers involved in incidents of road blockades and violence, have planned to depute men in mufti and lodge FIRs against them.

“Many times, people block roads for hours over trivial issues and amongst them are many who create unnecessary trouble like setting tyres on fire, damaging vehicles and others. The mischief mongers mingle with the crowd and indulge in violence. The cops are on the lookout for such people,” a police officer said.

According to plan, cops in civil clothes would be placed in the crowd as soon as trouble erupts to nab the persons.
