Fresh from experiencing hostilities twice during his Seva Yatra in Buxar district, chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday laid stress on probe into complaints against officials.
Addressing a review meeting at Buxar on Friday, Nitish told the officials that an “impartial and transparent” probe must be conducted by a superior in case of complaint against an official.
The chief minister directed the officials to hold janata darbar on a regular basis.
He also expressed anxiety over the poor attendance (55 per cent) in the district schools despite several schemes initiated by the government.
