Patna, Jan. 6: After Rakhi Sawant and Rahul Mahajan, it is the turn of Patna girl and television actress Ratan Rajput to find her life partner on national television.

Ratan, who says she had been dreaming of her marriage since childhood, is ready to find her groom on national television.

She is going to take part in a swayamvar — Ratan ka Rishta — on a television channel which telecast Rakhi Sawant and Rahul Mahajan’s marriage in earlier seasons.

Ratan said she was very excited about her upcoming swayamvar.

She said: “I am waiting for the boys who want to marry me. I am in search of a good human being. He should be an independent person on whom I can depend. He should also understand me well.”

When asked if she would get married on the show like Rahul Mahajan in the previous season, she said: “I am ready to get married and if the person I select as my life partner gives his consent, then we would get married.”

“My childhood dream is about to come true very soon,” Ratan added.

Taking inspiration from Ramayana, Ratan said: “Sita from Mithilanchal also got married in a swayamvar. I will be the second one from Bihar to take such a step.”

Ratan became famous with her character Lali in the show Agle janam mohe bitiya hi kijo on Zee TV.

She said: “I had a great experience on the show. Lali taught me a lot in life. Whatever I am today is because of my character and my hard work.”

Ratan’s character in the show of a poor village girl who is sold by her parents has been appreciated by all.

She said: “I have never acted for money. It is my passion. I would love to do a role which would leave its impression on the audience.”
