CIMP teachers shine abroad

Faculty members of Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) presented their research papers in a series of international conferences over the past one month.

V. Mukunda Das, the director of CIMP, presented his paper at 17th international business conference at Ryerson University, at Toronto in Canada, where participants from over 20 countries took part.

In his paper, the CIMP director explored the strategy between the development of marketing intent and the corporate social responsibility in the context of emerging economy like India.

“The conference, which was held on June 6 and 7, gave me the opportunity to present papers on the basis of research that I have carried out over the past two decades,” Das told The Telegraph.

Sayan Banerjee, a faculty member of CIMP, presented a paper at Harvard University in June.

About 300 participants from different countries took part in it.

Another faculty member of the institution, Anup Raj, presented his paper titled “Marketing of agricultural produce in India” at the 34th marketing science conference at Boston in the presence of more than 700 academics from across the world.

Raj’s paper dealt with an innovative model of marketing of fruits and vegetables with the help of empowered self-help groups in India.
