Governor-cum-chancellor of Bihar universities D.Y. Patil on Friday heard four cases pending for more than four years.
Shivdeep Wamanrao Lande, the aide-de-camp to the governor, said the chancellor heard the case of Bipin Kumar related to the cancellation of affiliation of KST Degree College at Salempur in Nalanda. The chancellor found that there was no merit in the petition and dismissed the case that dates back to 2009, said Lande.
The chancellor also heard petitions of two lecturers of a college in Nalanda and another case related to termination of services of a lecturer and one related to affiliation of a college.
